He was technically done long ago but not to my satisfaction. I added more contrast and improved the gems.

28mm figures are not easy, and doing a gnome in that scale is not something I'll do more than one more time (since I bought another).

I have a bunch of elves primed and ready to paint but I need a break from demi-humans (yes, DEMI) so an orc shaman is my next project. It looks awesome so far, but I'll probably strip it a couple times before I am satisfied. Some people test colors on photos of white figures with Paintshop (or the Gimp) but I do it the Luddite way. The cleaning product "Simple Green" is great for stripping paint off figures.

I have a painting partner now so my output will increase, so if you have a figure you want painted...
