Session 9: Finale

The Rush

The River King's Court
- The King suggests the party use a Fey Road to arrive at a "false mill" before Flax's much slower army could get there.
- Silverwing consorted with Jenny a lot and is likely aware of a Fey Road destination to get to this false mill.

The False Mill
- Lord Flax already had a few archers and ettercaps stationed at the mill. The party defeats them and Flax flees to regroup with the approaching army.
- The raiding army arrives, mostly giantkind and fey soldiers. Ambertan is also amongst the force!
- The party is divided between the two stories of the mill, Ambertan taking to the second floor and the ogres storming the ground floor.
- Flax is defeated and a coup de grace is delivered.
- The millpond here is the portal back to the Material World.

Riverbend
- Ellesandra's letter to Froderick is used as proof that Froderick is innocent.
- Ellesandra confronts the party about slaying Flax.
- A messenger from the Birch Queen reminds Allistrix of his fealty.

"Lard Flax" would be a great name for a rock and roll band.

I just kinda realized the fey refering to the material plane as the "Subnatural" might have been a nice backhanded moniker.

I also just realized Lord Flax is a lot like the main character of Bioshock. <ask for spoilzerz if you don't know how I mean>
