The inspiration. It's clear that the Green Knight in this adventure is much less honorable than the original, though. There is, however, much less kissing.

Then again, we have pendulous anuses, so I think we lose.

Wow, I keep following the links in this article. My first relationship was pretty much reminiscent of courtly love. Except I didn't get to the sex.

I'm so sorry. Courtly love sucks ass like there's no tomorrow. I don't think it even counts as courtly love if sex gets involved! Ah, Christianity.

Nah, well, I didn't know what I was doing. I'm better at it now. Well, at least the middle parts. The (non)beginnings are still filled with "wtf, come on, she was staring right at me!!!" Wink

It just happened to fall out like that as described in the stages. Not sure what they mean by "consummate" if it's not sex, though!

Anyway, Green Knight, yes. This is definitely not long enough of a module to span a year and one day, but it's fun that they added a little bit of that flavor. Wink

What's with Arthurian legend and a "year and one day" anyway? Didn't someone have to come up with the answer to what a woman truly wants in a year and one day? I think that was the Wife of Bath's tale from Chaucer, actually.
